The Internet Safety Project is a non-profit venture that began its journey at Brigham Young University. The organization is dedicated to educating parents, teachers, and teens about the benefits and risks of technology.  The Internet Safety Project has historically focused on two primary sub-projects: the Internet Safety Podcast (founded in 2007) and the Internet Safety Wiki (founded in 2008).  The Internet Safety Project’s websites help make solutions to technical issues accessible in an educational, entertaining, and useful way. Its mission is to maximize the benefits of technology while minimizing the downsides.
