Charles D. Knutson was raised among the cornfields of Iowa in the 1970s and spent Saturday afternoons with his nerdy teenage peers playing games on the mainframe computer at the University of Northern Iowa. His teenage love of technology would ultimately yield BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Brigham Young University and a PhD from Oregon State University. Dr. Knutson founded the non-profit Internet Safety Project in 2007 to help parents and leaders navigate the intersection between technology and moral life. He is the host of the Internet Safety Podcast. When not grappling with responsible stuff, he enjoys golfing, playing guitar and electric bass, and achieving maximal harmonic blend with other motivated vocalists. He’s been known to write poetry and always sings in the shower.
